Dr. Katie Osekavage was born and raised in Colorado and attended Colorado State University for both undergraduate and veterinary school, earning her veterinary degree in 2014. From there, she traveled to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for a small animal rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania. This was followed by a three-year residency in small animal emergency and critical care at the University of Georgia. She became board certified in 2018 following the completion of residency. She has gone on to learn about alternative types of medicine, becoming certified in veterinary acupuncture and veterinary medical manipulation (chiropractic care) in 2025.
Dr. Osekavage's professional interests include trauma, coagulopathies, post-operative care, and transfusion medicine. She strives for a strong pet parent-doctor relationship to provide compassion and understanding as well as a high level of patient care. Outside of work she enjoys horseback riding, traveling, running, and corgis!
