  • Permits: A permit is required to hike the chained section of Angels Landing.

  • Hike to the Emerald Pools (Lower, Middle, and Upper) for waterfalls and hanging gardens.
  • Evening: Enjoy sunset at the Canyon Junction Bridge.
  • Morning: Hike Angels Landing early to avoid crowds (permit required)
  • Relax with a walk along the Riverside Walk or explore the Grotto Trail to Zion Lodge.
  • Evening: Stargaze at the Zion Ponderosa Ranch.
  • Hike The Narrows, trekking through the Virgin River (rent waterproof gear in Springdale).
  • Drive the scenic Highway 9 and hike the short Canyon Overlook Trailfor panoramic views.
  • Alternative: Explore the less crowded Kolob Canyons in the northwest section of the park.
