About Brigitte B. McAtee, DVM, DACVIM (Internal Medicine)

Brigitte McAtee, DVM, DACVIM (SAIM), is a Board-Certified Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist at MedVet New Orleans. Dr. McAtee earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. Following her graduation from veterinary school, Dr. McAtee completed a yearlong rotating internship at the Louisiana State University of Veterinary Medicine and a three-year internal medicine residency at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She is currently working at a busy private practice referral hospital in New Orleans, LA. Her primary interests include gastrointestinal diseases, liver diseases, immune mediated diseases and all things dealing with older kitties! Outside of work she loves celebrating the many festivals in New Orleans, crafting/making costumes, running, biking around the city and traveling.
