Dr. Ally Sterman – Surgery
About Ally Sterman DVM, DACVS

Dr. Ally Sterman is a board-certified small animal surgeon. She completed both her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University. She completed a rotating internship, surgical internship and small animal surgical residency at Texas A&M University. After completing her residency, Dr. Sterman became a faculty of the soft tissue team at Purdue University before coming back to her alma mater as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Small Animal Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Sterman’s clinical interests include wound management, minimally invasive surgery, and GI surgery. Beyond her clinical interests, one of Dr. Sterman’s passions is helping fellow colleagues feel more comfortable with surgical procedures through CE lectures, wet labs and continuing to train veterinary students, rotating interns and residents.
